Bursaries

​Thetford Singers are committed to supporting the musical education of young people from Thetford and the surrounding area. We are offering financial help that is meant to support young people in full-time education with the costs of being a member of our choir. Those costs typically include membership for a year, transport to and from rehearsals as well as concerts, suitable clothing for performances etc. The bursary is a fixed amount and includes the commitment of the young person to regularly attend rehearsals and performances, be on time and learn the music as required.

You could be our next bursary student, if you

​

• are at least 15 years of age (subject to parents' permission if under 18)

• enjoy singing

• enjoy a wide variety of musical styles (or would like to get to know some)

• live in or around Thetford, Norfolk

• are in full-time education

• can commit to weekly choir rehearsals and concerts (at least one per term) for a full academic year
